Dulux Weathershield masonry paints and topcoats have a built in film to prevent fungicidal growths from re-occurring.
Saddolin & Sikkens varnishes are used for interior & exterior timbers be it plained or rough sawn wood a comprehensive range is available to cover every eventuality.
I also use a range of environmentally friendly paints, all are water based and low odour. A full range of paints are available from radiator paints to varnishes, emulsions to gloss paints. Please ask for more details.

Should any walls require lining I only use a trade quality 1400 grade paper, which is almost like card and being almost half as thick as those available in a DIY store helps cover a multitude of sins.
Experience shows that buying cheaper materials serves as a false economy usually requiring further coats to achieve the required colour and finish.
